Once again I found myself wandering through the local farm market looking for brew inspiration when I came upon the plaid covered table of AppleMan. I figured why not? Having tried some apple beers in the past, I figured I could do one more to my liking. So I purchased 2gal of his mixed bag cider. Not sure of the variety of the apples.
I started with my Lone Wolf Lager for the base, and decided to sweeten it up a bit with some crystal and munich. Going with the sweetened apple concept, I decided to add the candy citrus flavors of centennial hops. I never like to go light on the hops so I added plenty.
Finishing it off, I opted for the clean crisp ferment of the WLP810 White Labs SF Steam Lager Yeast. This would kinda make this one a sort of pale ale/common lager/cider brew.
